BuzzBall

BuzzBall is a game combining sports elements and extremely engaging timing mechanics. Players will coordinate the ball from above. You need to make accurate ball-dropping decisions to score points. Every time you drop the ball successfully, you will earn points. However, the challenge is not simple when the number of chances is limited. Exceeding the allowed ball-drop limit, you will have to end the game. Focus on every ball drop to score absolute points.

INTRODUCTION

Entering the game, you will see the bee appear and fly horizontally. Underneath the bee's feet is a tightly hugged football. At the bottom of the screen is a large goalkeeper glove moving back and forth. When players perform a mouse click, the bee will release the football in free fall. If the ball falls right into the palm of the glove, you will receive five points. If the ball falls outside and hits the ground, you will lose a life. The remaining lives are represented by sweet drops of honey in the top-left corner of the screen. When all the honey drops disappear, the game will end. The system will record your highest score.

Play highlights of BuzzBall

  • Realistic inertia physics mechanics are the key point creating the difficulty and excitement of the game.
  • Later on, the movement speed of both the bee and the glove will increase significantly.
  • The game provides players with a limited number of honey drops as a chance to correct mistakes.
  • The image of the adorable bee combined with the giant glove creates an extremely cute overall look.

How to drop the ball

  • Observe how the bee and the glove move in time for the bee to drop the ball into the glove successfully.

Smart strategies

  • Drop the ball one beat early when the bee is flying in the same direction as the glove.
  • Drop the ball slightly off-center to compensate for the inertia force pushing the ball.
  • Wait for the bee and the glove to move toward the middle area of the screen.
  • Skip a few movement beats to wait for the most favorable opportunity to drop the ball.
