Pool Duel transports players into a professional billiards competition setting. When a match begins, players will see fifteen object balls arranged in a triangle in the middle of the table. Your task is to use the white cue ball to hit the object balls into the six pockets. This game follows traditional eight-ball billiards rules. The person who sinks all eight of their object balls first wins. Achieve an absolute victory and become a billiards master!

ALL ABOUT THE GAME

To begin controlling the cue, players need to use the mouse. By moving the mouse around the white cue ball, the cue will rotate to change the aiming direction. A faint line will appear, extending from the cue ball to the target, helping you visualize the expected trajectory.

To execute the shot, press and hold the left mouse button, then gently pull backward. The farther you pull, the stronger the shot will be. Once you feel the power is sufficient and the aiming direction is accurate, simply release the mouse button. The cue will swing forward, striking the cue ball. If your turn successfully sinks a ball into a pocket, you get to play the next turn. If not, the turn passes to the opponent.

Time pressure

Each turn lasts only about thirty seconds. This forces players to think quickly and decisively, without lingering too long. The reward system in Pool Duel is also very appealing. When you win a match, you will receive prize money to unlock new cues with more beautiful designs. You can also change the color of the pool table surface to your liking.

How to play

  • Move the mouse to rotate the cue and find the path for the white ball.
  • Hold and drag the cue backward to generate the force.
  • Wait for the result of the ball falling into the pocket.

Tactics

  • Control the shot power and calculate the cue ball's position after each impact.
  • Prioritize moderate-force shots so the cue ball stops in a favorable position for the next shot.
  • Hit the ball off the cushion so it rebounds and falls into a pocket at an angle your opponent doesn't expect.
  • Plan for two or three subsequent moves; victory will surely be within reach.
  • Stay calm when time is running out; rushing often leads to unnecessary missed shots.
