Flip Or Fail

Flip Or Fail is an action-packed 3D physics-based stunt arcade game. Every leap is an exciting little adventure where the line between a clean landing and a brutal crash is just a split second away. You will guide your character to jump from the launch pad. He will flip through the air and stick a safe two-foot landing. It sounds simple, but the realistic physics are unforgiving. Your character does not move on rails. Every jump depends entirely on your launch power and air rotation speed.

Flip Or Fail features a wide variety of urban environments, including:

  • Cargo ports with towering stacks of shipping containers.
  • School grounds with familiar hallways and ledges.
  • Windy rooftops on top of skyscrapers.
  • Construction sites packed with scaffolding and obstacles.
  • Pro stunt tracks built specifically for insane jumps.

Each area brings its own physics challenges. So, you must constantly tweak your jump strength and rotation angle. Landing safely clears the stage, awards valuable stars, and unlocks tougher levels.

DETAILS

Nailing the perfect jump comes down to three steps:

  • Charge and launch: While standing at the edge, you need to click and hold the left mouse button. Your character crouches to build power. The longer you hold, the stronger the leap, launching you higher and further off the ledge.
  • Aerial flips: Release the mouse to jump into the air. Click and hold again to tuck in and start flipping. Each completed rotation earns bonus points.
  • The landing: This is the make-or-break moment. Before hitting the target platform, release the mouse to make this man stop spinning.

Game modes

  • Classic: Features twelve worlds, each containing ten short stages with rising difficulty.
  • Arcade: Twelve special unlockable levels that demand more complex trick combos.
  • Challenge: Twelve hardcore stages unlocked only after earning at least 15 stars in each classic world.

How to flip

Click and hold to crouch and charge your jump. Release to leap into the air. Click and hold again to flip mid-air, then release just in time to stick to the landing on your feet.

Tips to flip

  • It is better to clear a level with a clean, simple jump than to crash while over-flipping.
  • Release the mouse a split second before landing so your body has time to balance out.
  • Look closely at the target platform's distance and angle before jumping.
  • Every failed jump is a lesson for your next attempt.
  • Be patient and master short jumps before taking on crazy stunt gaps.
