World Soccer brings a completely novel playstyle, combining the finesse of billiards with traditional football. You will control pieces representing national players. Put the ball into the opponent's net to claim glory for your team!
GAMING JOURNEY
The match takes place in a vibrant arena, where every successful shot brings extreme excitement. To execute a shot, you need to move the mouse cursor to one of your four pieces. Then, you will press and hold the left mouse button and pull backward. The further you pull, the stronger the shot will be, and vice versa. A directional line will appear on the screen, helping you visualize the trajectory. Players need to observe the entire pitch layout to find gaps in the opponent's defense. When the direction and force are perfect, simply release the left mouse button. The piece will fly like an arrow, colliding with the ball.
How to control your team of World Soccer
- Click on a piece and pull backward until the directional arrow appears.
- Release the mouse to let the piece collide with the ball and push it into the net.
Balancing power in every shot
You should not always use maximum power for every shot. Sometimes, a gentle push in a tricky direction is more effective. Controlling your force prevents your piece from flying too far after the collision.
Defense
Attacking is important, but a solid defense is the key to victory. Players should leave at least one or two pieces near their goal area. These pieces prevent the opponent from shooting directly into an empty net. A small tip is to try and push the opponent's pieces into disadvantageous positions.
Using one piece to push another
You can execute a shot at a teammate's piece so that it is pushed to collide with the ball. This is a very smart way to play, requiring good spatial reasoning. Always stay calm and observe the opponent closely; every move they make reveals a weakness that you can exploit for a quick counter-attack.
